Kallie

Kallie, the eldest of the trio at 21 years of age, plays piano and harp. When asked how she chose her primary instrument, the piano, she loves to tell people she really didn’t have much of a choice. “Mama had taken a couple of years of piano and my dad’s grandmother gave us her mother’s piano. It just made sense to Mama that the piano was the way to go,” says Kallie. “The first few years were tough. I cried longer than I actually practiced every time we sat down at the piano, but Mama hung in there with the encouragement of our first voice instructor and eventually I grew to love playing it and can’t imagine my life without it,” continues Kallie. Kallie loves teaching as well as performing with her two younger sisters.
